HiLo vs. KO

After looking over the table at http://www.qfit.com/card-counting.htm, I noticed that KO scored higher than HiLo in BC, PE, and IC. This puzzles me because I was under the impression that balanced counts were stronger than unbalanced counts because of true count conversion. What's the explanation for this?

It really depends on the game: rules, penetration, etc. Honestly, there's very little difference between Hi-Lo, KO, Red 7, and Zen on shoe games.

In single deck you can add maybe 10% by using a powerful count like Hi-Opt2 with an ace side count with a lot of indices. Double deck you don't gain as much. And again, this is all dependent on penetration and rules.

Bottom line: counting systems don't matter that much. Your best bet is to use the system you already learned and start adding index plays.
