Winnipeg has two casinos, Club Regent and McPhillips Street Station. They are similar in the types of games offered and the ownership, I believe. Regent is probably better for poker and McPhillips is probably better for blackjack.

They offer six deck with great pen and low betting limits ($5-$200? $10-$200? something like that) . These games are H17 and there is no hole card, but in the event of a dealer blackjack you only lose your initial bet. In the McPhillips Street Hi Limit Room (AFAIK Regent has no hi limit room the hi limit games are on the main floor, which is near the poker room) there is a double deck game with $50-$1000 limits and mid shoe entry allowed. Pen is notch standardized at 50%. The rules are D9, DAS, H17, mid shoe entry allowed. I cannot remember if surrender is offered or not; I suspect not on the two deck game but yes on the six deck? They also offer $25-$500 6 deck with mehish pen in the McPhillips Hi Limit Room.

No doubt! there is no hole card but the dealer only takes your initial bet in the event of a dealer blackjack and a player split or double. thank heavens for small favours
