Planning a trip to Foxwoods this summer with the family, so considering the Jr. Suite at the Two Trees Inn. Any comments about it? How far is it from the casino? Web site says it's a 5 minute shuttle ride. Is it walkable, too?

Or, would it be better to stay off site?

Yes, it's a safe 10 minute walk unless you are in terrible shape. The buses are unreliable such that you might get there faster walking.

Two Trees is a wise choice if you are with kids, more like a highway motel than a casino, not as many freaks walking around the halls. Decent family restaurant in there too.

Thanks Monk. Wife is asking me if there's a place to sit out in the sun. I see mention of an indoor pool, but nothing outdoors. Know anything about that?

BTW, I can probably handle the walk. Just got back from a 20 mile bike ride...

Yes the Two Trees is a courtyard setting and if just a park bench will do, they are there. The main hotel has a decent solarium attached to its indoor pool.

You will get a leg workout walking around Foxwoods. Not quite like Wonging the Boardwalk, but it's big.
