Seems you are talking about stuff you have no idea about. Again.
Spoken (assumed blue blood know it all never wrong person) like a true blood person that you think you are. I think this is the one word that sums you up pretty good. The problem is that you don't even know it. That is the worst kind of dip.

My girlfriend's son had to go to the emergency room in Vegas because of infections from bedbug bites while staying at the California last year. And now the Cal is being sued for the second time in two years for bedbug bites. Look REAL good around your sheets and crevises around the headboard in ANY hotel before jumping in. Good hotel and nice staff (mostly) at the Cal, but they got to get a grip on this or I'm not going near the place. Hopefully, the Cal can do this without turning the place into a carcinogenic toxic waste dump.

Stayed for a weekend with a couple friends. The hotel rooms are small and very old and worn and did not feel clean. We were on a middle floor and in the hall outside our rooms there was some large bug that had been squished on the carpet. It was there for the entire weekend? The casino is sparse. While the location is good, the few dollars that you save by staying here is not worth it. Not recomended.

Bed Bug Victim Sues Las Vegas Hotel
By Andrew Pereira

The parent company of a downtown Las Vegas hotel is being sued by a Honolulu woman who says she was the victim of bed bugs.

The lawsuit against Boyd Gaming Corporation was filed April 26th by Honolulu attorney Eric Seitz on behalf if Jeanine Freitas.

Freitas says she and her husband stayed at the California Hotel and Casino last year on the night August 31st. She claims when she awoke the next morning her body was covered with insect bites.

Freitas and her husband went to a Las Vegas health clinic where doctors told the couple the bites came from bed bugs.

“When they got back to the hotel after going to the health facility they took the mattress off the bed and you could actually observe the bugs crawling around," said Seitz.

Frietas’ husband also suffered bites, but unlike his wife he did not experience an allergic reaction to prescription medicine.

"Although this incident happened in early September she continued to receive medical treatment here in Hawaii through November,” said Seitz.

“This was a prolonged problem because she had an allergic reaction and she had gynecological problems as a consequence of that.”

An official with Boyd Gaming Corporation says what may have happened to Freitas is an isolated incident and does not reflect the cleanliness of the California Hotel and Casino.

A spokesperson with the Southern Nevada Health District told Khon2 Las Vegas hotels take an aggressive stance against bed bug infestations.

"Most of the hotels that we deal with are very proactive,” said spokeswoman Jennifer Sizemore.

“As soon as they get a complaint they start treating it. By the time we're notified they are usually already in the process of looking into it."

Seitz says his client did not want to file a lawsuit but was left little choice after Boyd Gaming officials were hostile to requests for compensation.

"The hotel basically told us to get lost,” said Seitz.

“Until this matter is resolved I would certainly encourage people from Hawaii to think twice about patronizing the California Hotel or other Boyd facilities.”

Sizemore says her agency found one documented complaint of bed bugs against the hotel last year; however she admits not all cases are reported to health officials.

Boyd Gaming says it has not yet received a copy of the lawsuit.

Better not stay on the Strip, where everyone gets electrocuted!

LAS VEGAS, Nevada (AP) -- A tourist was electrocuted near a Las Vegas Strip casino during a weekend rain storm.

Rebecca Longhoffer, 39, of Louisville, Ky., was walking across a median near the Treasure Island hotel-casino late Saturday when she stepped on a wet traffic signal wiring box and collapsed, authorities said.

Clark County Public Works spokesman Bobby Shelton said a worn wire inside the traffic box may have caused a short circuit.

The victim was not wearing shoes, police Lt. Chuck Mangrum said.

Longhoffer, a computer programmer and mother of four, was visiting Las Vegas with her fiance, who was playing in a billiards tournament.

She was pronounced dead at a hospital.

I assume you found these stories the same way I did. By using a google search for Bed bugs in Las Vegas. Strange how you skipped the stories about bed bugs in the Bellegio,Strat,Tropicana,Excaliber or any of the other dozen or so hotels that popped up. But that wouldn't have supported your arguement so you ignore it. Typical ploppy nonsense.

What would you expect of a person from Kentucky not knowing better to wear shoes.
