Ploppies can be very beneficial to us

Case in point... I had a ploppy who risked his last $100 on a hand. He got 7,3 while the dealer had 7. I took a shot that he might be not be the brightest bulb in the casino and asked him if I could double down for him. Surprisingly, he agreed to let me do so. I was giddy from the opportunity to have such a +EV play for me in a high count no less. I was thrilled when I got the face card for 20 thinking ok the dealer mostly likely has 17. To my utter shock, the dealer has a 5 underneath the 7 and pulls the 8 for a push. Talk about a downer!! It's quite rare to have an opportunity that profitable.

I honestly run across that situation all the time. Mainly its from my ploppy buddy who is always too scared to double.

I too get that giddy feeling lol. I love it. I wish I could double for people all day.

When I play at one casino I know this guy who never doubles down for the full amount no matter what the dealer has. I am always getting part of his double down bet.

It's not rare, and there is a device you can use to generate those opportunities all day, every day, even in high-limit games.

It's called a vagina.

A skilled female hustling AP can flirt with high rollers all over the place and generate a non-stop stream of scavenger plays with high EV. All this without committing a criminal act or an overt rip-off. Not many have both the AP knowledge and the personality for that, but it is a form of AP and a good one.

I have no sympathy for people who hurt themselves by making dumb plays. It is their own fault, and it is none of my business, but I draw the line at contributing to their demise. If they have a 10 or 11 against a bust card, I will take their double because it can't hurt them. However, if a 10 v 7 is not doubled, the player can take another hit if he draws a stiff. I won't do that to him.

I agree with Shoofly 100%! The bust rate of a 7 card for the dealer is around 26% where as for a 6 card it shoots up to 46%!

Where do I get one of those vaginas. I hear they are a bitch every so often but they sound useful.

Chicks can generate scavenger plays with infinite +EV, namely guys just giving you money to play. Just lose a little and have a sad look on your face ;)

I actually had a woman give me money, had a big bet out and this dummy split her 10's and catches two 10's, but of course dealer catches a 21 thanks to her. She offered me half my bet because she felt bad. I actually didn't take it, could care less what she did with her hand and guess I'm too chivalrous, or a bad AP :) Too bad she wasn't cute

And, of course, it can sometimes help to use ploppy talk. Today I had a monster count. A guy walked up to the table. I asked him if he could wait because I had a good flow going. He complied.

Yep, they'll sometimes do that. Until they see you keep winning. Then they want part of the action.

The way I see it, ploppies who don't double or split when they should are expecting to lose their money. Might as well get some of their money that they leave on the table by not doubling or splitting. I don't feel guilty if I double for a ploppy with 11 and the double card is an ace.

One time I was playing with a ploppy who always split tens against dealer low cards. He bet his last $15 and got 2 tens vs dealer 6. I asked if he wanted to split his tens and he did want to, so I gave him $15 to split 'em up. It worked out since the dealer busted. 10 vs 6 is +EV. It's in my best interest if he split his tens, although it's bad for him, but he would have split those face cards anyway if he had the money. I did hate it when he split his tens in a high count and got tens or aces.

+5 IS a high count, no? else if you gave him the money when the count was lower (-ev) you were just keeping the "flow" (i.e. doing what he would have done if he had the cash) => VOODOO!!!

That's another thing girls can get away with.
