DENVER—A new proposal at the state Capitol would ask voters to eliminate the $5 bet limit on poker, blackjack and slot machines at Colorado casinos.
The proposal from Democratic Sen. Ron Tupa of Boulder was released Monday.
The proposal must be approved by two-thirds of the members of the House and Senate in order to get on November's ballot. Voters would have the final say.
I hope they get this changed, the 5$ max is bs. From what I understand the small casinos are against this because they don't have the space to add other games like roulette.
