Took a trip to these areas and could not find a double deck game worth playing anywhere. Beau Rivage had good $25 min games (don't have the BR needed) and the Hard Rock had a good $50 game..... All single deck 6/5. Went everywhere but the IP and Boomtown. The New Orlean's Harrahs had not one pitch game. Give me a break man. I did hit my first royal at the Isle in Gulfport so I came home with twice the money the trip cost. so lucky. I won't be going back down there needless to say

double deck???

I'm thinking that $50 table was a double deck bc I think I remember acceptable pen.... but I could be wrong. When I see $50 min I walk away.

Edit- I didn't see many 6/5 double decks. They were all full pay from what I remember. I didn't stick around the Hard Rock very long. There was sweet ass everywhere though

wrong info

It was the Hollywood in Gulport where I hit the royal..... Also our gps had 3-4 casinos listed that we couldn't find. I guess it was last updated pre-katrina. If you like waffles then you'd feel like your in heaven in Biloxi

Dd

Gulfport, Island View, has several DD, that Bj pays 3:2, ins pays 2:1, Double after split allowed, double any two, dealer stands on all 17. They have one $15 min table all the time. They have one or two $25 min, according to the crowd. They also have $50 min in the high limit room. They all have fair pen. All pretty good games (No surrender). They have several six or eight deck shoes, all the same rules, and most are $5 min.
Palace, Biloxi, has one DD, Same rules as above. They have terrible playing conditions though. I was there this week and was run off for standing near (behind) the table watching. I was just standing there watching the TV above the table for a football game, and the OLD CRABBY (lady) pit critter came over and told me I couldn't stand behind the table and watch the Bj play. I assured her I was watching the game, and she ran me off anyway! They have no mid deck entry, so what difference would it make? I got home and shredded my players club card. Won't go back. If they sweat watchers, imagine what they would do if they thought you were a counter or AP.
They also had an eight deck shoe for $3 min and several $5 min. There was SD but it was 6:5.
Isle of Capri, Biloxi, had DD. They only had $25 min, all the good rules except no surrender. They had a 6:5 game and I think it was SD, and did not notice the min. They had several shoe games, all with $5 min.
Hard Rock, Biloxi, Had one DD, all the good rules except for no surrender, $50 min. If the table was empty, you can request they drop the min to $25, and most of the time they will (not always).
Beau Rivage, Biloxi, has several $25 min DD games. They also have SD for 6:5, and most of the time it is $10 min.
IP, Biloxi, has a lot od DD for $25 min.
Boomtown, Biloxi, had one $25 min DD.

At the tables I saw at Island View, one might see 60 cards before the shuffle and had 2-3 players. I wouldn't waste my time. Played at Isle of Capri but wouldn't again. Just wanted something to do and the table was empty. They have a notch in discard tray that allows about %55 pen. I did coax the dealer into kinda sticking the cut card in angling downward and got maybe %60. I don't know about you but I'd rather play video poker than play a break even game (at best) at the blackjack table. Beau Rivage was by far the best I saw for pitch games in that area if you can afford the $25 min. Who said MGM sucks? They do watch the tables pretty hard tho...

I was just curious if you've been backed off yet?

not yet

But we had to slow down a good bit.... Our 4 hour sessions have had to go down to under 1 most of the time and on several occasions I think if we had stuck around a bit longer it would have happened. I don't know exactly what to look for but they sure have acted funny a few times

best games ever!!

About an hour from where I live is the best card games in the world. DD has all the good rules except for surrender making it a straight up -.17% disadvantage. The single deck pretty good too, with double only on 9 and 10 are the only rule changes from the DD. Now the unbelievable part is next. Penetration was as high as 95%. normally about 80%. I had a dealer get to the last 3 cards on multiple occations, and I had a dealer whe ther were abou 15 cards left she would ask if I had a feeling. If I did, she continued dealing. If I did not, she reshuffled. The DD was a $5 minimum and the Single Deck was a %10 minimum. Now here is another good catcher. During the first part of the week. They have a blackjack pays 2-1 from 5pm to 9pm. This makes the game straight up positive advantage by about .3%. Sorry though I can't tell you where the games are at because I do not want people rushing over expecially since the casino is paractically in my back yard.

Im afraid you've already give people more than enough information to figure out which joint your talking about.

Wouldnt this give the player, somewhere upwards of +1.5% off the top? Not .3 as you stated. Are you sure its not 2 for 1 and not 2 to 1??

yes, when you hit an all black blackjack, you get double your money. Which has a positive gain of about .57%
That sounds more like suited BJs pay 2:1. When all BJs pay 2:1 it increases the player edge by +2.27%, giving the game just over a 2% advantage for the player.

Never heard of 2 for 1??

How does that work?
Ah, its just another way of saying even money. Except some Casinos, for some games(like VP)word it like this because it sound good to the unknown ploppy. It the same reason they put "Dealer Must Hit 17" in great big letters on the felt. Because for those who dont know any better, believe that its actually beneficial TO them, to do so. Even to this day im surprised how many ploppies still believe this.
