are you saying there are casinos that offer even money in 6:5 games?!?
Yes, there are at least a couple of places on the L.V. strip that will allow this. And the tables at these particular houses are always packed.

Come to our home game, but my night banking I won't be offering even money anymore.
You may be making a huge mistake here, by inviting professional blackjack players into your home game.

As far as offering even money; you need not worry - I can guarantee that you won't be hurting yourself. A 6:5 blackjack game is what would be known in the poker world as a "snatch game" (unfair house rake). If you get enough people stupid enough to play, you'll be making so much money off of this game, that by giving back a tiny bit of your edge on a hand that's only going to come up once every 340 hands or so; it will affect your bottom line about as much as a grain of sand on the beach. And the good will that it will generate among your ploppies will MORE than compensate. After all, you're robbing them blind in the first place; you don't need to use hollow point ammunition on top of it all!

Obviously taking even money when BJ pays 3:2 is a dire decision.

But if BJ pays 6:5 (assuming your playing BS) would it be a good idea to take even money?
6:5 doesn't offer even money, but you can take insurance?
At least thats how it was offered the last time I looked at one, at the Fremont. zg
