IP/Treasure Bay

#1
Finished up a 2 day session on the coast. It is sad to report, but double deck at the IP has become unplayable. This makes me sad. A couple of years ago it was my favorite double deck spot on the coast. Not only is it H17, but the cut card is now at LESS than 50%.... more like 40% with most dealers. And there is no scmoozing with the dealers to get better penetration. I tried 3 different shifts, and it was all the same.

Teasure Bay diffrent story. Cut card was at 50%. After about 30 min of play I asked for a deeper cut...and got it! (about 80%) I played for about 3 hours spreading 1-12 and got no heat. Went back the next day (diffrent shift) and the same thing happend. Ask and ye shall recieve! And as a bounus, they are still S17.

Sense May Prevail

As soon as the casino looses money because of all the shuffling due to the poor cut they will decide to deal more cards and make money!:joker::whip:

Or reason that they are being hit hard by counters and teams and make their rules even worse!

IP has the equipment in the table to use RFID chips. Does anyone have info about whether they utilize it, and how?

I asked a pit boss about it. He said they use it for rating players and giving comps. A dealer told me that also. They are very particular about having your bet not touch the edge of the circle...they say the table cannot read it. Who knows if that is the whole story or not.

I concur.. as far as I have been able to determine they use RFIDS strictly for rating the players.

Yeah right, daddybo just basically admitted to hitting the place hard. Sadly good penetration is not in a casino's best interest unless it is an out of the way joint that serious counters rarely visit.

I don't think so. Unless you're talking about teams or purple chippers, most casinos would be better off with a good cut, even knowing there were counters.

Say 1/6 or 1/8. Or 75% on DD.

They make so much more money off the ploppies that way.
