he is some guy that suposably has been banned from like every casino everywhere in the UK, thats right. He gives very questionsable advice such as a betting schedual for zen count with a 62% ror and so on. He has a blog type thing to help people win more at gambling and so on.

Zg probably has something to say about him eh?

some guy who hates America and more than likely read up on a few things about counting so that he could fit in on this site without looking like a spammer and still promote his blog. Basically just ignore him or at the very least ignore his advice and you should be fine. People like Zengrifter, Sonny, ihate17, Bojack1, QFIT, Ken Smith, and the other extremely knowledgable posters on this site end up disproving every claim he makes.

David Pom will never be able to post again without Zgs comments saving us from his garbage!!!!!!

Actually, most of them did not wiegh in on Pom. He is quite welcome to post his articles in Voodoo. But his apparent ack of AP fundamentals makes his appearance in non-Voodoo forums obnoxious, IMO. Primarily because he won;t give straight answers to key questions, presumeably because he doesn;t know the answers.

He may be more deluded than most... I'm not sure, I keep giving him the benefit of the doubt. zg

Ps - Who is (Dead link: http://www.blackjackinfo.com/bb/member.php?u=2594) _Alythezon_, BTW?

In response...

Hi all, thanks for the chance to speak. :) Sorry its taken me a few days to reply, but I only come to these boards once or twice a week due to private time limitations.

The blogs I have, as I've said before, are aimed at the "average player" in casinos - NOT the advantage player specifically. Therefore, the content is tailored towards that audience. i'm not professing (and never have done) to be the "guru of gambling". I'm not trying to be some sort of big shot. I'm just providing a personal blog, on a topic I'm personally passionate about, for your interest or non-interest. You're free to choose whether you visit.

If you don't believe that my blogs are aimed at an average audience rather than advantage players, look at one that I've not ever announced here: http://beattheslots.blogspot.com - now, an average player might well play the slots. A blackjack advantage player never would (or if they did, it would be at very low limits, to pass the time). So that blog is directly aimed at NON-ADVANTAGE players. The Beat the Casinos blog (http://beatthecasinos.blogspot.com) which is the one on which most of you have "rated my ability" is also a general site, and is not targeted towards ADVANTAGE players. I've said that before, but I'm re-iterating it, because the message doesn't seem to have got through. Hopefully this clarifies things.

ZG (who I actually respect, despite his regular flames of my posts) suggested I didn't have ANY answers re blackjack in an earlier post. Here's a couple of the "general advice" columns re blackjack that I feature in the blog.

http://beatthecasinos.blogspot.com/2007/12/blackjack-card-counting-hi-lo-system.html (Archive copy)

http://beatthecasinos.blogspot.com/2007/12/blackjack-basic-strategy.html (Archive copy)

Again, they are NOT directed at Advantage players - but they help people newer to the games to get a handle on what to look for. Whilst the majority of readers on this board do make money on blackjack (including myself), there are many many thousands of people out there making really silly bets and losing thousands of dollars... my blog aims to help educate them with some basic advice to get them thinking and playing the right way. It IS basic advice: there are plenty of other sites (like this one) that they can visit when they want to expand / increase their knowledge base on specific games.

Some of you might agree or disagree with my blog entries / advice - that's ok. There's been a mixture of good and bad responses on these boards. You're entitled under law to free opinion and free speech. It's good to have the feedback actually, so I'm happy to read it, good or bad.

I've been told (by ZG) that my posts serve to do nothing but build traffic to the blog, because I "get more money from the advertisers due to the traffic". Sorry, that's baloney. These links aren't CPM based (cost per thousand impressions) - therefore it makes no difference whether 200 or 200,000 people visit in a month. Longer term, maybe it will. But for now that is where things stand. I've also pointed out that for the majority of the adverts I have, US players cannot play. So my blog is NOT about producing income (although if it generates a few dollars a month to pay for the broadband connection that's ok), it's about having a personal outlet in which I can write about what interests me in the world of gambling.

Replying to others in this thread, I do NOT hate the USA. I'm actually a big US fan, and its my chosen vacation destination too. I have friends across America, and I've actually worked with some of the bigger corporations on website projects in the past too. I have affinity with the US people, and great respect for them. I love having holidays in the US because the service is so great in restaurants etc compared to what I get in my home country. I also love the US countryside, the variety of people and places. So please don't accuse me of US hatred - it's the exact opposite of what I feel.

Yes, I'm barred from all UK casinos. That's not made up, it is true. It's sad - I'd rather not be. But right now I don't live in the UK anyway, so it's not affecting me on a daily life basis. And it shouldn't affect yours either - some people seem to be hung up on the fact; more than I am! The blog was started up as a response to that ban though: my way of "getting back" at the casinos was the thought to make more players better educated on the games and promotions, so that they could look for ways to beat them, or minimise their losses. That's really why the blog exists - and I think it does acheive that original goal.

I hope that this clarifies things. I'm always available on personal message here if you want to get into deep discussions, and my blog also carries my profile and contact email address etc. Stay in touch, I'm really a nice guy.

ZG, if you can provide a list of 5 key questions on which you'd like straight answers, I'd be happy to answer them.

You can't expect me to answer questions when you haven't asked them. I'm not good at interpreting riddles. You do your part, and I'll do mine. :)
