Trop's Holy Grail to casino profits

Tropicana has finally found the Holy Grail to casino profits. Trop knows that free rooms and food will bring in customers and profits. For months it has mailed out Holy Grail Offers like this:

As a result, Trop has showed a surge in revenues 2 months in a row while other casinos' revenues dropped continuously

In Oct, Trop's revenues popped up 7.1%, except for Trump Marina, all other casinos' revenues dropped like a rock.

In Nov, again Trop's revenues popped up 11.2% while all other casinos dropped their balls.

Hopefully other casinos will compete against Trop for patrons with free rooms and food. Guys, look for the Holy Grail Offers in your mailboxes ;).

Free room? I tried asking for a sandwich once playing quarters for an entire weekend there. Apparently a whole weekend of play isn't enought for a sandwich for them.

Because of the fact that A.C. casinos aren't allowed to bar skillful players, one of their first lines of defense is to deny comps to players that have been identified as such. I strongly suspect that this may be the problem in your case.

They arent allowed to bar players, but i've been backed off of blackjack in AC before. honestly I'm glad i got backed off before they resorted to changing the rules or flat betting me. At that point they were already on to me, at the very least it gave me info that theyre watching me, I plan on going back in 2 weeks to see if i can play there again.

In regards to blocking my comps, that is very likley for the the fact that there are 3 stores there that I hit heavily, and that was one of them.

Tico,

It is hard to discern that this Promo is the sole reason for Trop's gain in revenue. It could have been any number of changes they made which increased their revenue while others suffered.

Don't sound like the ploppy who believes that he/she only wins/loses with certain dealers. Or any other nonsense they come up with.

Actually who's dealing has a huge effect on whether I win or lose ;)

My sense is that the Trop is the only store that takes on the Borg directly for the younger crowd. I don't know what it has done lately, but it could be anything. A better question may be, what in the world is the Marina doing to swim upstream?

Marina has made profits from 25% edges on the 1-buck-BJs;). Its rip-off-tables are full of rich retirees, grandpas and grandmas:grin:.
