Casinos' New Come Ons: "Direct bet coupons"

Surprise! Due to the cut-throat-competition & in order to bait in more and bigger actions, AC Caesars rewards its MVPs with some $1,000 Direct Bet Coupons (DBCs). A DBC works just like a regular match bet coupon except... no chip is required to make a bet, i.e., a MVP can use a DBC as if it were a $1,000 chip. If he wins the bet, he's paid a $1,000 chip, and the dealer takes away his DBC. To keep up with Joneses, Bally's also jumps into the band wagon of DBCs. A gambler was recently observed using a DBC at a Bally's bj table. Hmm... I wonder which casinos will hop on board next...Competition is surely good for consumers and gamblers alike. Keep those DBCs coming please:).

I would hope a person as experianced with AC would realize Ballys and Caesars are owned by the same company, so Balys is not keeping up with the Jones's.
The devil is in the details.
You seem to think this DBC promo is a bad thing. May I ask why?

Got mine in the mail last week...and Tico, you sure won't hear me gripe at this new "come on". Granted, my offer was not $1,000 but a free green level bet is surely welcome :)

The mailer stipulates the offer is good once each weekend. Swipe TR card at the kiosk, take the voucher to the cage for the coupon, use the coupon to make a bet. Better than a match play, I imagine.

good luck :joker:

Thanks for your civil reply. Joneses include family members too, i.e., in addition to Caesars, & Bally's.....
Showboat, Harrahs' are parts of Joneses... Get it ?

Competition & promos are good things, not bad things as you perceived thru your perusal of my previous post. Perhaps I should substitute "Come Ons" with "new marketing strategies" so that I will not mislead negatively and give readers the wrong idea .

No, I didn't mean to lament about the DBCs. My bad.

I got one from Ballys for $100. Nothing from Caesars which is odd, as my play was equal between the two.
Perhaps the Ex-Sands-Catcher caught you as an AP in Caesars
So stay away from Bally's Catchers in order to keep receiving your DBCs ;)
