decisions

Hi
I am looking for some guidance as to what direction i should head as i have reached a fork at the end of a road. I have been playing blackjack and Texas holdem poker for about five years now, i might add that this has been a recreational use of my time, and i have decided that i would like to specialise in playing one of the two and also turn it into a way of making small amounts of cash.
On the one hand texas holdem seems to give the player the advantage as he is not playing against the house and so has equal odds of winning.
On the other hand when playing blackjack the player does not need to account for playing with amazing players who might take their hard earned cash and the opposition seems to be very similar.

When i decide to specialise in one of the two i will be looking for the one that will provide the most stable profit, i doubt i will ever become a pro in either so i am looking for the game that is best for a player who is good and spends alot of time playing and learning but will never be the best. Also i do not want to have to invest much capital at the start however i am willing to put in alot of time and effort. I would like to do the gambling online as well if at all possible.
I will very much appreciate any help, comments, advice, instructions and opinions.
Thank you in advance.

Neither game is intrinsically better than the other. The real value is knowing how to spot an opportunity. You already know how to play both games, so focus on the opportunities available to you. One game might be more profitable than the other in a particular casino, on a particular shift or on a particular day. Know what to look for and know how to make the best use of your playing time. Don't be afraid to look at other games either. Every table in the casino is waiting to give you money. You need to decide which one you will take it from today.
