Trop was worthless today

Was at Trop this morning. It was like a ghost town. The whole pit with the 4D games was closed. They had about 5 6D games open, all with lousy pen (2D cut off.) Last week they were only cutting off one deck.

You could probably thank Ethan for that one. If I remember correctly that was part of his going away post, "cut 1d".

The 4D pit opened around noon, but the pen. was pretty awful. Ranged from 60%-70%. I feel like the morning shifts always give better pen. and lot less people jumping in.

it may be wortheless, but at least they have free parkign for diamond club members now through april 2nd, make sure you snag a card from a slot machine before you leave, it will become worth 5 dollars upon exiting.

which one of you was the old guy i was playing with at the table that had that crazy guy who kept saying "he was one of a kind" while stuttering and making crazy "road runner" like noises when he got blackjack and stuff

I know which crazy guy that you are talking about. He makes loud noises. Other players make fun of him all the time. They said he was there for almost everyday the past week. I never sat down at the same table with him but were a few times next to his table.

About the pen, it all depends on the dealer. If you are lucky, you might find a dealer who have never done a 4 deck game. She would ask the floor or player how much to cut off:). From a few trips, the range that I got was from 0.5 to 1.75. No kidding. But mostly around 1 deck. 6 deck game is also very playable. If you have patient, you can find pen less than 1.5d there.

I got heat a while ago playing 4d. Cashed out quickly. I think they are definitely watching more closely at 4d. Be careful for your longevity. I wish we don't kill the game too soon. I can share at least one PB to aviod if you PM me.

This game will be dead within a month or two. Every counter on the east coast is hitting this game and talking about the pen online.

I wonder what their revenue reports will be like. I'm sure the other casinos are anxious to see it too as this will ultimately prove whether it makes business sense for casinos to offer a better blackjack game or not.

I believe they will have decreased revenue on the 4D games. First, the limits are mostly 10-500, lower than most of their other tables. Second, the higher vigilance with all the half-shoeing and reshuffling is costing them a lot (the standard Bill Zender argument.)

Very likely they will see a decline in revenue, if they compare the data from a year ago, or even before 4d. What truly the data should be compared to is performance of the other 6d games in the house or other casino at the same time frame.

Naturally, their revenue in there less favorable games will now be higehr because we advanatge players are no longer forced to play them further amplifiing the effect. ???????

I think if they made all of the games in atlantci city better, they woudl notice almost no change. They probibly arnt this smart though.

I went there this wek, and the PEN was pretty bad when i saw it, like 60-70% bad. Maybe it was just the dealers, also the reduced it to only 3 tabels when i was there.

I also made an AMAZING DISCOVERY, pm me for details, its highly exploitable and could be worth multiple whole percents of EV, i may be willing to disclose the exact location of the exploit for some kind of bribe.
