Bipolar ploppy

#1
Count is +2, dealer shows 10. I get a 20 and stay. The ploppy next to me, a rather attractive female, gets a 7 and 4 and is hesitant to double down her $50 bet. I offer to double for her, and do so. She gets an ace, tries to hit again but the dealer wouldn't let her. Then she yells at me and wanted to slap me when we saw the next card was an 8, which the ploppy at 3rd base gets, it busted his 15. The dealer flips over a 3, hits and gets a deuce and an 8 to bust. I pointed out that my doubling her hand saved the table since 3rd base would get the deuce and the dealer would get the 8 to get 21. Then she gave me a hug. Talk about bipolar, when she got an ace she thought I was the scum of the earth but after the hand she completely changed her tone.

That's always a possibility when you double for someone. And they may get irate that they can't hit again.

Yeah these moves are almost not worth it for the hassle and entanglements. Never really saw anyone get angry in this situation, I think most ploppies are relieved that they don't have to try to hit, and content with letting the dealer bust.

I wonder what she would have given you if you added a hand and the next hand she got... a BJ!

I noticed she had a nice pair and was spreading aggressively, so I told her to split 'em. And the MILF dealer was flashing her hole, so I hit on her for a change.

Next thing I know the ploppy surrendered while the dealer gave me an awesome BJ, and then they doubled down on my hard 12. I drooled over the pair of 10s and, what with the dealer offering good penetration and a hot running count, I sensed it was time to Wong in - no reason not to pound away at these juicy counts. So I tapped her for another hit, face down, and told the ploppy to get two hands out on the felt.

I pushed and pushed, but finally came out ahead on the dealer bust.

Ah, how I miss junior high!

You think a bipolar ploppy is bad? Wait until you run into a bipolar AP!
I wonder how many smart mouth AP's have had their little nerdy ass kicked by some ploppy. I noticed on green chip board their was a post in the Midwest section about a fight at the MGM casino in Detroit. This was on a Saturday night in the high limit room. The fight lasted about 5 minutes before security arrived. Apparently it was about someone taking a hit or not taking a hit. Guess who that could of have been. Best not to act so cocky or so high on your horse.

I highly doubt there was an AP involved in that fight.

I don't know if you consider yourself a smart mouth AP or a nerdy ass, I never buy other players' hands simply because I do not want to deal with any potential messy situation. Act cocky? Not me! I just mind my own play.

I've been chastised for splitting tens because it messes up the flow. My reaction is to tell them to sit out the rest of the shoe if they don't like the way I play.

Typical female. Aren't they all bi-polar manic-depressive? Or is it just me? zg

judging from this post: [xurl]http://www.blackjackinfo.com/bb/showpost.php?p=240374&postcount=5[/xurl] Friendo may be one, either that or he didn't take forum advice of not drinking during AP, got plastered and landed up in a cat-house.:p:joker:

I am sure this happened but we both know the 5 minutes was a great exageration.

Detroit is not a place to fool around, but if something is going down better to strike first and very hard.
