Handling table conversation about "21"

Well, I already had a dealer ask me if I was going to see the "21" movie. Conversations about it will probably do nothing but become more common. Probably like when "Rain Man" came out (although I wasn't allowed in casinos then).

So... what to do when the ploppies starting talking about the magical MIT blackjack team in order to deflect untoward attention?

dispite the fact i don't really have much casino experience here is what i would do. Get involved in the conversation ask them if they can count and exactly how to and ask the dealer. then "try to count" out loud and give up after it is too hard. I just think that would be kinda entertaining, acting all excited and into the conversation doing a few mock impressions of the characters.

probably not the best route to go but i think it would be kinda fun.

Why then? Aren't you still a savant?
