Casino Rama and Great Blue Heron's playing cards

#1
Does anybody know where to get Casino Rama and Great Blue Heron's playing cards? I tried to seek on ebay but they are finished by now. Or at least suggest another casino quality cards which are not so slippery like Bee or Bicycle

All casino cards are going to be "slippery" as well, due to the finish that allows them to glide across the felt and not get stuck to other cards. Casinos usually use Bee and Gemaco at table games (generally, the Bee cards are Aristocrat stock) and KEM for poker tables (the cards are plastic, not paper). The reason a new deck of Bicycles or Bees feel slippery is because they're not worn in yet. After playing with them for a while, the cards are no longer flat, so they "stick" a little more.

Depending on what you need the cards for, your preference may change. For playing card games at home, I prefer standard Bees. For card tricks, I like standard Bicycles. Plastic cards might be better for card games at home where many people will handle the cards (eg. poker) because they don't wear as easily.

You can buy Rama cards from the casino rama gift shop. As for blue Heron, they give away thier decks for free. When your leaving you can ask the coat check person and they will give you a deck. hope this helps.

1. Rama. I didn't see any gift shop in Rama. Or perhaps I missed something?
2. Blue Heron. You mean if I just come to the checkroom and ask for a couple of decks they will give me them? Did you do it before?

In rama you can also buy it in the convenience store near the table games. For blue heron just walk up to the coat check and ask for a deck. They give you one deck when your leaving.
