I am looking at going to Reno/Tahoe in the next little while.

What are the table limits I can expect?

What are the conditions for DD or multideck?

I'm pretty sure that Reno and Tahoe are significantly different. You should probably specify if you're constrained to play in one place or the other, like if you're staying in South Lake Tahoe but may make a day trip up to Reno, or if you're staying in Reno but skiing around Tahoe during the day.

I have no advice, sorry.

You're going to single deck heaven and you're asking all the wrong questions.
Is that single deck at 6:5 or 3:2?

Hubby is thinking instead of Vegas for 50th b-day next weekend to do Reno.

3:2 is almost standard there. I'd stay away from multi-deck games and pound the single deck. Don't spread more than 1-4, limit play in any one store to 45 minutes if possible and you should be fine.

Hmmm, ok, now to see about cheapie flights. I'll PriceLine the car, maybe the room. We tend to play red chip to $15/hand as that's our comfort zone...Rarely play greens except to do MatchPlay coupons. Rather a slow nickle-dime increase than get hit hard with a neg-Ace count.

Most of the better (eg DOA) SD game limits are $100-200, notable exceptions being Nugget and Grand Sierra ($25 min).

Thanks, I am looking for higher limit games with liberal rules. Anywhere in the Reno/Tahoe area.

The bad games in Reno Tahoe are better than the average vegas games. Vegas has too much 6:5 blackjack in Reno Tahoe there is only two casinos that offer 6:5 the eldorado and grand sierra and both have a 3:2 game as well. If you are on a budget there are many more $5 and $10 minimum or lower in Reno than in Las Vegas. Double 10-11 3:2 game is standard reno/tahoe but the best let you double on any two like boomtown with deep penetration.

Besides the two houses already mentioned, check out El Dorado and Silver Legacy. Concentrate on the DD's there and do some pit prowling. The max bets in both places are $500 and up.
