Who has the best multiple deck shoe games in Reno? I'll be going there in March and all I've been able to read about here are single deck games which I have no experience at playing. I would much prefer to play multiple deck games if there are any places that over good rules.

Step 1, get a copy of CBJN from the folks at bj21.com . Step 2, to quote Pro21, "You must do your own scouting." Multiple deck rules should be OK anywhere in Reno. CBJN will fill in the details. Pen tends to be highly dealer-dependent, so consider CBJN to be only a rough guide. And it's not good to be putting up posts along the lines of, "The Tangiers has the best penetration at double deck in the U.S." It might lead to the game disappearing tomorrow. Look around, and you might change your mind about single deck, at which pen is occasionally stupendous in Reno.

If you are going to Reno learn how to play Single Deck.

It is the last great bastion of single deck in the USA.

There are good multiple deck games esp in Tahoe and environs.

If anything I think double deck is the predominant game available in Reno. Single deck downtown, kind of depends on the casino out there. Atlantis and Peppermill will have more single deck based on percentages of tables.

I think Laughlin has some OK single deck games.

Most of the double deck games suck. The common procedure is, right after the shuffle, put half a deck in the discard hopper, and then place the cut card a half a deck from the bottom.
