This place is such a rip off. I took my wife up there to use up my comp points on a nice meal while we play the ponies. I had never used my points and played rated there many times. I figured I would have enough for a great meal for 2. I had less than $20 in points!! When I drive a few miles up the road to the Philly stores I get more than that in a few hours of play. I played some blackjack for a couple hours. Only had a handful of tables that weren't CSMs. They were all crowded. I found a low limit table 8 deck S17, DS, LS, unlimited splitting. The pen sucked. They were cutting off about 2 decks. I managed to get 2 spots at my table as it cleared out after I got there. The dealer started giving me a hard time for playing 2 spots when the casino is crowded as some people showed to play at the table. I finally got to keep my second spot when I pointed out there was still an open spot. I played all for a couple hours since it was so crowded I didn't think it was worth trying to find another table when it felt unlucky at my table. I ended up leaving $25 at the table as opportunities were fleeting. I will not be returning. The Philly cluster of 3 casinos (Harrah's, Sugarhouse and Parx) is just up the road and they are nicer in every respect.
I seldom go there, but last time I did it was just like you said but better pen. I made out okay but left for Dover Downs for other reasons.

I played at Delaware Park last month. I got there about 10:30 AM on a Sunday. They had one CSM blackjack table open. I bought in for $300 and after about an hour, I was up $350. Then they said they were closing the table and offered for us to play at the next table over. They were bagging the cards of the table we just played at and moved from! I thought it was unusual for them to bag the cards this early in the day! Well, the new table wasn't good and I lost my $350 and lost a net of $125. I thought they start out with brand new cards in the morning or did they just trashed those cards because I was winning?? All of that for just a measly $350??? What the hell?

I just went to Delaware Park last month with 3 friends who don't gamble to take advantage of a promotion. $200 free slot play for new members. We took over $800 from Delaware Park.

Last time I was their (6 months ago?) the non-CSM 8-deck was upstairs and did not begin until 2 or 2:30 in the afternoon. Everything else (downstairs) was CSM. Yeck!

The shoes upstairs have always been $100 max. bet to the best of my knowledge and they aren't always open. The CSMs have $500 max bets. I haven't been there in a few months, though, so maybe things are different.

Do you like CSMs. If you do run right to Delaware park and play $2 CSMs with a $0.25 ante.
