Any of you folks play the Single Deck Game at the Goldstrike in Tunica. Last time I was there it Was 3:2 BJ with NO Double on Splits.. The pen was generally three hands dealt regardless of number of players.. I was hoping they would get a lot of play... really would like to see the 6:5 games go away.

yeah, I know..

yeah... the pen is mostly shallow though you can get some help with two players betting multiple holes to influence the deck.. (tokes help here). But it's watched like a hawk. NO DAS but you can split aces to 4...

Just would like to see more folks jump on it because its 3:2 payout.. maybe these stupid casinos would get rid of the 6:5 crap. ... then maybe understand loosening the rules a little = more profit for them.

That game is really unplayable, even with 2 players: http://www.bj21.com/bj_reference/pages/singledeckgameselection.shtml.

My guess is the SCORE for 1-4 on that is somewhere in neighborhood of playing a below average shoe game.

it's beatable..

it's beatable with two players spreading two or more hands and coordinating the spreads... it just takes BIG Units and spreads to beat. You can't do that for very long though. The only reason I was playing it was because all the other tables were full and it was almost time to leave. I managed to pick up a few bucks on it.

You get three hands heads up. There's no Ro3 game worth playing, including this one.

I get it..

yeah... I get that it's a trash game... my post was more about it being a 3:2 game... I just don't see too many single decks that are 3:2 anymore.. and honestly It's better than most of the 6:5 games I've seen... I rarely play single deck anymore and usually don't even look at them because they are soo bad.

I was mostly wondering if the stores might be getting smart enough to start loosening up the rules a little to bring in more players in the BJ Games. The plop to AP ratio is usually good enough that a good game will really make the house more money... If they would just stop and do the math.

I thought i said this in an earlier post... It wasn't really Ro3. the dealer told me she would deal it three hand regardless of the spots played. And she did. It was more like an Ro7 the way we played it.... But it admittedly looked suspicious and we didn't play it long...

Yeah, that's a COMPLETELY different game. 3 rounds to any number of spots would be insane if you could play 6 spots.

They have not done that when I have been there. 3 rounds heads up, 2 rounds when 2 spots are played, 1 round with 3 spots.

A worthless game. There are better single deck games in Tunica, and better double deck games the next table over.

Yeah. I'd rather play your standard Midwest D10 H17 50% pen double decker than try to play that game.

They're killing themselves with the poor pen, too. The high rollers like to play single deck, and they're only dealing maybe 40 hands an hour heads up to these guys. I saw a donkey betting purples, splitting tens (off the top, so I know he wasn't a counter) playing like an idiot, and just shook my head at the casino's inability to get this guy's money.
