Default Best Casinos In So California

Hi Guys, I Have Been A Basic Strategy Player For Last Eight Years, I Won Some Money But Mostly I Lost More Than I Won. So Anyways Is Joined This Site And Reading Your Post Here I Realized I Give The Counting Cards A Try. So I Invested Some Money In Books And Some Time In Practicing Counting Cards. The System I Learned Is Ko. I Been Practicing Every Day For Last Six Month And I Think I Am Doing Good Job At Keeping A Count. I Wanted To Take My Next Step And Try My Skills In A Casino. I Am Red Chip Player Mostly And Sometimes Green Chip Player. I Live About An 1.5 Away From Casinos. Casinos Around Me Are San Manuel, Pachanga, Pala And Morongo. So I Was Wondering Which Casino To Try My Skill At. As Far As Games And Penetration Which Of These Four Casinos Should I Try. Thank You!!

San Manuel is decent but they are usually very crowded. That might make it a good place to practice. Morongo is okay if you like 8D games. I’ve never been to Pachanga or Pala but I believe there are some other reports in this forum about them. You could either scroll through the threads below or search for the casino name. There’s also a great thread from EasyRhino about his experiences in some casinos in the San Diego area.

You could play at those casinos if you have to, but I wouldn't recommend any of them. Out of the four I would be most likey to play Pechanga. That being said; Pechanga is the only one I have not played. My experience could save you some money. I would recommend playing at casinos that are monitored by a govt. gaming agency.

Ive played at san manual, morongo, pechanga (before the hotel) Pala, Pauma and Soboba or whatever that one is called. My career started at pechanga. They would let me jump my bets from 5- 100 bucks but when i was winning they would limit me to 5 times my previous bet. when i won 1200 i was cashing out and the person phoned it in to the floor manager or someone to clear the cash out. also while at pechanga one of the dealers was telling me she tries to place the cut card as far back as possible to give players more hands. This was before i started counting and learned about penetration. I havnt counted much at pechanga but the one time i did i didnt sense any heat. At san manual i did sense heat. they seemed to really watch the tables. At morongo the penetration isnt good and they dont seem to watch the games at all or its done from above. I had one instance at morongo when the dealer delt the cards in a fancy non standard way. At soboba a small hole in the wall **** hole the dealers became rude and confrontational. Havnt counted at the others and some of the ones ive played at dont have many shoes just automatic shufflers. hope some of this helps.

Default limited experience, but

At Pechanga, the better conditions for DD are in the high stakes room. You'd want to back count to play 6D there and the penetration isn't the best. I haven't looked at the 6D game at Pala, but the DD is decent enough. There are several places in and near Palm Springs where you can expect to back count at the 6D tables fairly easily as there are a fair number open even in the early afternoon.

of all the casinos listed they all suck for red chip players.

you should focus on spotlight 29, fantasy springs, agua caliente, soboba, pauma, and pala. san manuel has a horrible game, pechanga as well, and all the bad rep about morongo has kept me from even visiting (8D 60+% pen).

all other games are inferior at the red chip level. if you can drive to san diego then play golden acorn or barona both have the best games in SD county nothing else even comes close. golden acorn has good rules bad pen, barona has ok rules if you know how to use LS and acceptable pen and good tolerance for red chippers, good food comps too even at the red chip level!

Default Has any gone out to Santa Ysabel?

I've been going there since they opened, and they seem to be targetting the "value player" -- have a $2 6deck with a 1.5deck penetration (forgive me if I have the terms wrong, I'm rather new to this), a $10 double-deck (no mid-entry), and sometimes a $5 6deck (same as the $2 game).

While they are on the small side (slots are at the maximum to still get their Federal support), they do have a Pai Gow ($5), and one each of the basic carnival games. They even have a 4-table Poker room and a tourny on Saturdays.

I'm just glad I found a place to learn more about the other casinos, as I am so much a regular at SY -- they all know me by name.
