I drink your blood....

casino blood that is.

Schultzy has brought to my attention an article in "Casino City Times" concerning a new BJ variation offered on what will soon be 500 BJ tables nation wide. This new "popular" "winning option" offered by *Casino Gaming LLC* is called "Automatic Win". How it works is when the dealer has a 10 value card showing but no BJ and you have a 2 card 20 you can choose to have the house surrender, you keep your bet plus half. This is supposed to be a great thing for the player..

  Now any AP knows this is a sucker bet and clearly the evil casino hopes players will begin to use this option with great frequency, and tell them how great a feature this is. Like Even Money or Insurance.

But wait!, Is this all bad:confused: Thinking,.. about what I do to the casino with the Insurance, Even Money, and surrender option:p I murder them!

Yes, by all means GIVE Panther this new option to use as I wish!! (at the correct time). I am getting aroused just thinking about it, :)o ) I CROUCH...then POUNCE...pinning the greedy casino to the floor as I tear at their throat, groaning and moaning deeply with pleasure:eek: blood and flesh flying everwhere, my eyes black orbs of death, evil and piercing.. the blood of the casino fills my mouth, that sweet taste of dominance, the blood flows freely into my BLACKNESS and I drink with abandon and at will, YES, GIVE the Panther the "Automatic Win Option" and the casino will bleed and bleed. I WILL TAKE THIS FEATURE AND BURY THE EVIL CASINO... I will MAUL it... I will drink its blood, and bath in its demise..... GRRrrrrrrrrrr.

Take a deep breath

Woah!
Take it easy CP, just sit back and relax a while. If that doesn't work, there are always prescriptions. Consult your physcian.

Right, it's also called Casino Surrender, and you have the right idea. Arnold Snyder writes that anything that gives the player an option doesn't hurt the player.

CS is something you'll rarely take because the count required to make it +EV is very high, but it's good to know, just learn what count in your counting system it pays to take it at and enjoy it when you get the opportunity.

I've posted on several boards, and I still can't get a straight answer about what TC I'm supposed to start using this option at. I'm also curious if it's correct to use it against an ace in some negative counts...

1.Your EV will NEVER fall Below 50% for XX vs A, EVEN if you were to remove ALL the face-cards.

2. According to kc's cdca program, it would take the removal of these cards, In a 2D pack for your EV to drop BELOW 50% for XX vs X.

2/3
3/3
4/3
5/3
6/3
7/3
8/3
9/3
X/0
A/0

The Removal of Three cards EACH(2-9) Drops your EV below 50% to 49.7%

Calculate your count accordinly to compensate for the removal of these cards.

You can download a 15 day free trial of kcs cdca program.

Oh, okay. Well, that 20 vs. A was more of a curiosity question, and thank you for answering. I was mostly concerned about the 20 v. 10.

There is at least one time where this option is good for the AP - when you see the dealer's hole card and he has a natural 20!
