Who's going to AC for the upcoming long, crowded weekend?

Don't think this will be a very fruitful counting weekend due to the crowds I am expecting (at east most of the time), BUT this should be a good weekend for those of you comp hustlers looking to get some "hours" in at big average bets (or appear to anyway  ) to earn room comps for the upcoming summer. Now I just wish these casinos would start offering gas comps like the CT casinos do!

Good cards to all this weekend.

Yes, those gas comps are as good as a cash comp! It should add 20-25% to your EV. If you are a local or a New Yorker you can get a Stop & Shop card at a slightly better rate than the Citgo or Mobil ones, and the Stop & Shops around here have a discount gas station attached to them which makes the gasoline value (GV) even greater.

well, i guess BJ glossaries need to be expanded again. GV is a new one to me and I like it

my gosh i was there last night and it was the most crowded I'd ever seen it. I didn't even sit down because the tables were so packed..I sat in an hour of traffic on the AC expressway on the way out at 11:00pm!!

Which CT casinos offer gas comps? How much does your avg bet need to be to get this comp? Do you have to show the pit boss a receipt to get it?

Gas comps

Mohegan Sun has a Mobil gas station on the property. Over the Memorial Day weekend, regular was $4.89 a gallon -- lousy if you use cash or your own credit card, but not too bad if you use comp dollars, which you earn for all table play, as well as at the machines. Haven't been to Foxwoods for a while, but I recall they used to offer a gas card in the players' club store. I believe you could get a $50 Mobil card for $75 in comp dollars, but that was a while ago and things may have changed.
