Question: Which news source--newspaper, TV/cable news show, magazine, newsletter, blog, Internet website--in your opinion, is truly unbiased, or comes closest to being truly unbiased?

Here are some who make the claim of unbiased news:

UPDATE: Hold on! Ron Paul did NOT quit the GOP presidential race
Published on Friday, June 13, 2008.

(UPDATE: Though Ron Paul stopped short of telling supporters in Texas Thursday night that he was quitting, his campaign website posted a statement overnight that he is indeed packing it in. "It is time now to take the energy this campaign has awakened and channel it into long-term efforts to take back our country," Paul said.)

Throughout yesterday afternoon and evening news reports flashed all over the Internet that Republican Rep. Ron Paul was going to officially end his hopeless presidential campaign.

RFK Jr. warns Canadians about corporate media

by Jenn Watt
June 11, 2008 | The Rabble

When U.S. President Ronald Reagan killed the Fairness Doctrine in 1988, he killed a piece of American democracy, says Robert F. Kennedy Jr. The duty to inform was taken from the media and replaced with the aims of corporations, to deliver people to advertising and to hell with balance, fairness and critical thinking.

Kennedy, who founded the environmental group Waterkeepers in the 1980s, was the keynote speaker at the International Association of Great Lakes Research conference in Peterborough, Ont. at Trent University May 22. The topic may have been Our Environmental Destiny, but his message was of the danger to civilians when corporations take over both the government and the media, as he argues has already happened in the U.S.

A return to the fairness doctrine with all its difficulties would be a good thing now in light of the fact that the media has quickly fallen into the hands of a very few individuals.
