Default Fun and games with the RNC

Last spring I recieved an urgent appeal from the Republican National Committee. Seems that if I didn't send them money quickly, the world as we know it was about to end.
Not wanting that to happen, for selfish reasons,I promptly sent off a check.
Made out to the RNC for the princely sum of sixteen cents.
Today,I got a thank you note and another letter. It seems my sixteen cents didn't save the world. It only postponed the destruction briefly.More money was needed to prevent the most liberal member ever elected to the US senate from leading us straight down the road to perdition.
This time I sent them a check for ten cents.

Shadroch asked elsewhere why the US had so many persons who were the scum of the earth. My question is, "How come we have so many politicians, mostly educated in the best schools of the land, who are nothing short of common criminals, and often worse, since they betray the public trust?" The only thing lower in the realm of thievery are greedy lying ministers who rob little old ladies of their lifesavings and street thugs who victimize women, the handicapped and the elderly.

And a nice letter from the director of the NRA to the President of the University thanking him for the generous faculty insert history professors names a and b here.. It was also a nice tax write-off.
