Default Holecarding and comp counting

Could one of you guys explain to me what holecarding and comp counting are.
I was reading a thread here and saw that and I`m not familiar with them, Just curious.

Holecarding is when you can see what the dealer's hole card is. It gives you a very big advantage. It is sometimes called Front Loading. Comp counting is a way of maximizing your comps while counting cards. There are some sources for these techniques (and many others) in this thread:
