AC Penetration

Just went thru AC and noticed several casinos with 2 notches on the side of the shoe for dealers to line up the cut card - they looked to be at 1.5 and 2.5 decks - what is the second line for? Are dealers instructed to cut shorter for a suspected counter or for busier times?

At the Borgata Sat nite, I noticed $25 tables with 2.5 decks cut off! Those were the cheapest seats - who are these people with so much money to throw away?

the notches are not always standard equipment, some dealer use them, some ignore them, sometimes, in one casino, only some of the tables will have them.

in borgata, there are 5 blackjack pits, you were probibly in the predominately 25 dollar one near the parking garage entrance.

hilton has awsome penetration, and recently trump plaza has had some good penetration, weird since it had been so horrble for the last, as long as i can remember.

I have had many dealer comment on my card counterish ways and take no action on changing penetration so i wouldnt think them switchign lines for this purpose is so.
