I'm going to a casino in Ireland in a few weeks...

6 Decks, NO surrender, DAS, Dble any card, stand soft 17

Using the Hi Lo System - Maximum Bet 25euro.

I'm planning on playing for a max of 3 hours....

Any advice on how much to bring..what do i need to take into consideration etc?

I've read a few books and some say 10 some say 12 times your max bet but would appreciate some real info from real experience..

For an evening I take 10 times my maximum bet, this is usually enough although i get wiped out probably 1/10 times so regardless of whether you win or lose this should be enough for you to survive the evening. I place my maximum bet at a true count of 4, if you place it earlier than this you will need to take more because of the up and down swings will be more often.

thanks for that..was thinking of roughly 12-15 my max bets so i'll bring 400euro to be on the safe side...

using this and playing for about 4hours what would you reasonably expect (or hope) to make on an average nite?

Its just as easy to lose say 200 or 300 as it is to win it, you could lose the first 5 trips you go as i found out, so be prepared to lose the lot if you get unlucky. In 4 hours I would expect to win or lose around 5-10 top bets on average to be honest.

€25 max bet? What are your spreads here? Try your game on Casino Verite or something, just to give you an idea of what it'll be like.

For an overall bankroll you will want to have 100x your max bet = €2500
Trip bankroll I'd try maybe €400

As for what you can make try a sim.. it seems unlikely you can make too much money with a 25 euro max bet.
