Their resources are drying up. Even if your lucky enough to find a song you're looking for, alot of times you'll get a second hand version of it. Just recently I was infected through 4 Trojan Downloaders, when in the past the worse infection you would get were tracking cookies.(Make sure the artist is, in front of the title.) Rare songs that were there a year ago are no longer available. Bob Dylans/tonite ill be stayin here w/you, John Barrys/ peggy sues Homecoming,Groove Amanda/Hands of time, Last of the Mohicans soundtrak, All of Big head Todd and the Monsters have disappeared. And many others.
The Days of free Limewire are quickly disappearing.
Ps. For Best results download on a Sunday nite

It is robbing the artist of their due, which is indefensible, but seldom given a second thought unless you yourself are in the artist's position.
I think there is some justification in a case, for instance, where you have already purchased a song in another form, say, a record, and now all you want is the same song in digital form. You could transfer it from your phonograph, but it may be more convenient to download it P2P.
Of course, you do risk importing viruses and the quality of download may be inferior, not to mention the fact that you are technically in violation of the law.
Why does anyone feel the need to go P2P anyway with the price of music so cheap--99 cents a title, isn't it?
