I don't think a cop has anything to do with the tone of the McCain campaign. He just acted stupidly.

I'm just thinking out loud here. War efforts and their emphasis on security issues always brings up the specter of fascism, but it is really nothing to worry about. FDR was far worse with his treatment of Japanese Americans during WWII, but he was clearly no fascist. Bush is just as socialistic with his big government approach to solving problems as those on the left, but his selection of programs differs in many respects. Each succeeding administration brings with it their own socialist agenda, and so it has been going since FDR. We are sliding into the same mire that Europe finds itself in, only the going has been a bit slower. I like to think we're less retarded. Hopefully Christian democratic socialism hand in hand with a more or less capitalistic economic system will have more soul, more vitality, than its Marxist counterpart, but I wouldn't put my hopes too high. Government cannot be all things to all people. In the end, it will fall of its own sheer weight and size. If its the thought that counts, then socialism is a good thing. But as a practical matter, I don't have high hopes for a system that puts a damper on individualism, initiative and innovation. I doubt Russia would have gotten as far as it did if it didn't have someone else to steal its secrets from.

maybe i read too much into it. didnt the mccain camp ask for her to be removed? if they didnt, why would 2 cops decide on their own to remove her?

Aslan, I'm beginning to question whether you are a govt. plant to diffuse the ZZ !

Hahaha! Good one, Brutus! Or should I say, "Et tu, Brute?" I try to be a diffusing agent to what I see as untruth, but then, don't we all?

The government has trouble finding it's way to the men's room (at least, according to Irishmannot2brite...Lol...maybe I should have said finding their way to the bomb shelter); I don''t think they stay up at night worrying about the Zen Zone. But if it will make you feel better, Rush Limbaugh sent me. Lol Talent on loan from GGGGGGod! Lol

Just who doyou think you are?
Hertz. And you?
Well I'm not a spy!
Upon which, he leaps from the car and runs headlong into a parked car, Ouch! Lol
