I use the Red Seven Counter. A book, I read, I think it was Dahl’s says you split. What is the correct play for this hand? The theory about splitting with a high count is you have lots of tens and can make two nineteen hands and the dealer makes seventeen so the theory goes. What thoughts do you have on this?

For single and double deck this play comes up from time to time. In multiple deck games, this play is a rare occurence. (The deeper the pen, the higher TCs you will experience.) About the same as splitting 99s on a Ace.
Note: If NDAS, is allowed, you should double your Index for this hand.
