I am going to Vegas next month and my girlfriend is insisting on coming along.
She knows basic strategy very well but can't count. What in your opinion is the best way to use her to my advantage at the tables. Without having more players signalling her in will be pretty lame because at best she would come in about once an hour (which would mean all the profits would be spent during the wait time most likely haha). Would having her play an extra hand or two while sitting next to me when the count is good even be that beneficial or would the SD out do any gained advantage? What two man strategies have any of you used with success if any?? Any stories would be nice.

use her as someone to talk to while backcounting tables or to sit out negative EV hands when actually sitting down at a table. if you are playing face down DD, offer advice to her as you look at her hole cards. signal her to make bigger bets than normal when appropriate then offer to help her play her hands. have her flirt with the pit between these situations. hell, have her dress herself up nicely and sit at a table across the pit to keep the PCs occupied and away from your table. the sky is the limit with a female partner.

Just play together. You keep the count, she bets the same as you, you tell her how to play the hand. Casinos accept that a "dumb girlfriend" would need your help. Couples don't count, either.

Wait, is this related to blackjack? As in, "I disapprove of card counting and want to keep an eye on you"? Or does she just like Vegas and want to come along on a fun trip?

Because the last thing you really need is your girlfriend coming up to you at the table and saying something like, "I thought you said this counting thing was going to make money, so why are you down $300?"

Each of you playing one hand can help the camo, but you can play 2 hands alone. Three hands at a table is counter productive because you eat to many cards.

If you trust her or she is playing with her own money. The way to make the best use of her is to stand around and watch tables, then send her in on a good shoe to finish it while you look and play elsewhere. She would need to bet lower then you on her shoe because the variance would be higher and you will lose indice plays because she only knows BS. An important change is she can stand on 16 v 10 and improve her play on shoes you send her to.

Hahahaha. Reminds me of the time I played a juicy double deck game where the casino restricted the players to only one spot. I arrived with two beautiful extremely well-endowed girl friends who had no shyness problems about showing the ample cleavage.

The pit boss and dealer were so busy drooling they really didn't notice that the girls and I were "playing" 3 spots, the girls didn't even know basic strat - I told them a few quick signals and they just looked at me on how to play their hand. I had also told them when I raised my bet to raise their bet the same.

So there I was, playing 3 hands in a very favorable rule game, spreading 20-1 locked in with the count with no cover, and having the pit boss at my shoulder doing everything he could to get me to stay.

Women are wonderful.
