Hi all

What would be a good computer tutorial for a new player to learn bj quickly. The plan is to learn enough in a couple days to enter a free bj tournament. The price is right and with a lot of luck and some skill the bj gods might smile on the new player with a little cash.

Seems impossible, but just looking for some input and ideas.

Thanks in advance for any one who might help.

Cheers...Coffeeman

The trainer here will teach you BS quickly. Keep the volume way up.
Tourneys are more about betting than BS,though.

Hi again.

BS would be a good place to start. Haven't looked at the strategy trainer here yet but I'm sure it's good. I looked up some of my old stuff and the newest I have is Wongs Blackjack Count Analyzer; 1993 and comes complete with a large floppy. Wouldn't be good for beginner anyway. My wife wants to enter a free tournament for ladies only and she has never played before. I believe the tournament has targeted non bj players. The host, who called my wife to ask her to play, said she don't have to know a lot about the game. However, the host: she's sometime not on the money with details. Of course, free entry is cheap enough.

Cheers

In about 20 words how would one play tournament different from regular play? (Or as short as possible.)

You want to beat the house in regular play, and you want to beat the other players in tournament play.
