Default Lucky Lady?

At Casino AZ here (not the BEST casino for card counting and not the worst, but decent for steering), they've got a side bet of "Lucky Lady", which is, if your first two cards equal 20 (face cards or A,9) then you get at LEAST 4:1 on the side bet. If it's two matching cards, I think it pays 10:1 and if it's two identical cards, it pays 100:1. What's a good count to bet on something like that? Many times do I get facecards when the count is +4 or more, but a friend figured out, +6 would be the ideal count to throw down a few bets on the Lucky Lady.

Anyone agree/disagree? And did I miss a thread when I searched for this?

Here are some old threads about that bet:

Those were just a few that I found using the search function.

Jesus, I'm definitely not the first one to see this and I obviously searched incorrectly. Thanks for the links, man. I guess we were dead on with +6 or more.

I think Panama Rick publicly posted the TCs for this bet about 5 years ago. I'm not sure how long he had been playing it before he went public with it or how many other people had figured it out independently. It’s a pretty old bet but the casinos seem to like it (and so do we ).

Arnold Snyder also deals with the subject in "The Big Book of Blackjack".

There are specialized counts to really exploit this side bet.
