It was obvious they couldn't give away Lehman Brothers so they will now hold weekly auctions so the banks and money brokers can go more in debt . Terribly nice of them to admit we are in a financial crisis as well . Wonder how close India/China/ and Japan are watching this fiasco that the fed is getting us into . I wonder if they have not FAR EXCEEDED their authority as well but I am NOT a constitutional scholar . The bailouts have got to stop before the federal deficit is 20 trillion dollars . They also will now accept other collateral not accepted before . Good way for their CEO buddies to unload more non performing assets off their books and the taxpayer takes it up the a$$hole with no K-Y jelly either !!! It would be hilarious if the other nations saw through this charade and decided to sell off the bonds /bills/ and CD's they hold as a sovereign nation and convert it to another currency or a commodity like gold !!!!! BOA bought Merrill but no number was mentioned - that should be good when the deal surfaces. This would be hilarious if it was not so pathetic . This country is going down the tubes it seems and the once great and powerful country is being diced up like onions and tomatoes for a salad . I could go for hours - time for bed !!!!!!

as well as your downside is much less then gold per se for what you need to invest in anyhow to control huge amounts of it on the futures exchange !!!!!!

A few facts - when social security was initiated the first check was written for $.05 or $.15 I actually can not recall !!! In 1960 there was close to 300 people paying into the system for each person receiving benefits . Now it is like 33 or some small number but here is the kicker- in the year 2020 the way the system is run in its present state 3 people will be supporting one recipient !!! our educational is like 14 th in the world when 40 years ago we were number one !!! What is wrong with that picture ??/ It is a disgrace now especially public schools as well !!!! The asians and the Indians do everything with long range plans in mind , not immediate gratification as we are addicted to . The infrastructure is in shambles such as roads , bridges, dams , levees, and super highways . I agree our kids and grandchildren may be garbage men and toilet cleaners . You aced that one big time !!!!!
