Default new to uapc also

I am trying to learn this system also so take what I have
to say with a healthy skepticism as I have not yet hit
the tables using it. It is a multi-tiered counting system
where the cards get the following values:

A=0,2=+1,3=+2,4=+2,5=+3,6=+2,7=+2,8=+1,9=-1,T=-3

Same as other systems when the count is positive you
bet more and when negative you bet less. You keep a separate
side count of Aces as they do not affect the count but do
affect the betting sizes. You also keep count of how many
rounds of cards have been played(assuming 2.7 cards per person
and dealer= 5.4 cards per round if playing head on with the
dealer). There is a multiplier for the # of rounds to apply to
the count and well as a multiplier for number of aces played
to apply to the new bets you make. The matrix charts are
slightly different for single deck versus multiple deck so Uston
suggests picking your game and just concentrating on those
charts. Generally I gather that you usually just play basic
strategy and use the counts and charts to determine at
what count to "deviate from the basic strategy" for any
card combination.

Hope this helps,
