Tweaking software

Hi guys,

I've been gone a while. I'm glad you're still here. A friend was telling me about some person from MIT who did a study of online casinos. According to this MIT chick, online casinos somehow modify - on the fly - software to cause high rollers to lose instead of winning.

Supposedly, the casinos somehow alter the software to their advantage if you deposit a large sum or are winning a lot of money.

While I am no programmer, I have played thousands of hands at various casinos online - for fun and have not noticed anything of the sort no matter how much my balance increases. Initial deposit amounts do not appear to change the outcomes I see. Is my friend right or am I?

I've played thousands of online hands for bonuses over the last 6 months. As you'd expect, sometimes I make more than expected, sometimes less. However, my total results average almost exactly what I expected. I have no reason to suspect foul play of any kind, then again I only play with large companies and at as lower limits as I can, to still make a decent hourly profit.
