Default When bailout is finalized

what is the betting line on the market going up or down ?Is it already in the market ? Everyone knows it is coming and I think alot of it is in the market already perhaps . I am also wondering when the world banks are going to start examining their loans and non-performing assets as well and take the hit on them ? The USA banks are not the only ones with these kinds of junk on their books .it will be very interesting !!!!!!!

I would imagine that it is an even worse situation outside the US where graft and corruption are a way of life.

As did mine. They had it rough. Back then, about the only luxury you might have was a radio. Long after the depression, I remember us having a 1934 Packard (I think) in 1945 or 6. It had a flat tar-paper roof, and you had to park it on a hill to get it started. I remember Dad saying that it was better than the cars you had to hand crank. lol We did have an automatic washing machine, too. It had a wringer that you has to crank clothes through. lol And even though it was an automatic washer, you still had to use a washboard on difficult stains. lol People today can't imagine.

I never realized it either. The first time I ever ate at a restaurant I was about 12. I didn't know what filet mignon was. For steak we mainly had round steak that Mom pounded out with a hammer or something to make it tender. I thought it was great.

I like it when they start talking about how poor and deprived they were. One guy says, "I was so poor, I didn't even have shoes." The other guy looks at him in astonishment. "You had feet!??" lol

And if they do sue, you can stick them with the bill... ultimately by passing the bailout... so to speak.

Theres plenty of face cards to make 20, but it takes an Ace to make Blackjack.
