Borgata and Trump Plaza have 6D S17. Tropicana and I believe occasionally Trump Marina have 6D S17 in their high-limit pits. I don't pay much attention to the 8D games.

A.c. S17

Most of A.C. is still S17.

Only a few dumps are not S17. Example: Wild Wild West

Penetration around town has improved somewhat, although not enough to make the games more than marginal. This due to decreased revenue.

Also there are some properties spreading $25 minimum tables with 6 decks.

Still not as good as Foxwoods of course.

Don't Resorts and Taj still have stand 17?
I'm going in 2 weeks. Did they ever fix that frigging animatronic donkey at the WWW? The donkey and the miner used to both move and talk but they haven't moved in about 5 years!
What a joke. It's like that Indian light show at FW. unless that's been fixed recently its been out for a few years too.
You would think with 89% penny slots they could keep the damn attractions open.

I was there last week, seemed to remember them moving and talking. Or maybe I was just playing too long.

Don't fret the H17 or 8D rules. Just backcount. It's the remedy for both.

I.m.o.

Without wishing to get into a conflict with "Thunder" -- it is the consensus of Pro Players that the BJ Insider newsletter is without merit - or worse.

My experience is that it is misleading via factual errors re: playing conditions.

BJinsider

We go to AC almost every week and I agree with most of what the BJinsider report had to say. Clearly, I dont play on your level flash, and I am a woman, but I am not stupid. I know how much money I start with and how much I leave with, and I could care less about what the "books" say about bankroll. If I even had $10,000 to play with at a $10 table, I think I'd be playing quite poorly if I had to spend that amount of money. I am just a lowly chemist wh counts and begins with 500 to 1000 and goes home with a $250-1000 profit per day/night out, works for me.

I could give a hoot about tits and ass and cocktail waitresses and all the other crap the guys talk about. We go to play, dine, drink, make money and have fun.

Isnt that what life is about?

And I agree with the insider, I don't want to be NEAR the baggy pant, sideway baseball cap group that jump in and out of tables like the morons they are with no rhyme or reason and make you paranoid your going to get mugged.

The Trop does it for me and us, I can even handle Harrahs as they are the nicest people to deal with and backcounting and jumping in is easy to do, they always have $10 tables available. We played yesterday at the Trop and then later at night at Harrahs.

The Borgata is nice but full of young jerk offs with too much money to spend stupidly. I work I dont have time to sit around waiting for a table all day.

This is a just a novice counters opinion but one who goes 3-4 times a month and does JUST FINE...
