Default The Better Compromise ?

Hi Everybody !

I'm a new Bj player on this forum, a french player (so excuse my language if i'm making mistakes )

So, i master the basic strategy and count in casino with the hi-lo system for few month.

I have read the Uston books "million dollar blackjack" and i'm learning his "apc count", but this is a difficult method and i would like know your mean about the better compromise between the different count system ?

because i don't know if it is necessary to learn a count system for few month to win just a little advantage over the house ..

i'm hesitating between hi-lo, apc, hi opt II, ... so if you can give me council about my question, i"ll be very happy.

thanks.

It depends how well you are able to use the different systems. Being able to use Hi-Lo perfectly is better than if you use RAPC with mistakes. But just for a suggestion, I wouldn't jump from a level 1 to a level 4 count (Unless you are talking about just RPC which is a strong level 2 count). You may also want to consider if you are concentrating on multideck, SD, or DD games.

Stick with H-Lo and play slightly longer sessions for the same net gain.

Ok, thanks for your answer.

i think that the APC count is maybe too difficult to win just a little edge more over the house than hi lo or other.

do you think that hi-opt II is a good system ? (i have the don shlesinger book "blackjack attack" but haven"t yet start to read it ..) or Hi-lo system is the better system to use as your mean ?
