Default shop smart this christmas

remember folks shop smart , hard , and haggle . The retailers are going to choke on inventory this year as the economy has met the perfect storm . Pay cash and demand a cash discount versus using a credit card . You will save 2-3 % guaranteed. Shop the sales only and remember the 11th commandment- thou shall not pay retail for anything . Shop online and get free shipping as well . You save gas money ! Use manufacturers coupons as well . There is no tax online either normally so you pick up 7-9% there as well . Use your computer to save you money on deals as well . Be a friend of google ! The ultimate trick is cherish your friends and family and then shop the day after for gifts or the week after especially ! Your friends will applaud your frugality and wise buying . Plus you will get more for less as well ! Be smart , haggle , and stand your ground !!!! Your overflowing bank account will love you as well !!!! Send this to your friends and family as well so all will be smart and sharp consumers this holiday season.

That's the right way to do it. After Christmas is always the way to go. Don't get locked into everybody else's rut. Christmas is everyday all year long. If my wife needs something she knows she doesn't have to wait until Christmas or her birthday. I love her just as much on St Paddy's Day or Columbus Day or even Groundhog Day! hahaha I hate to say it, but except for the religious significance, Christmas is for suckers! And so are birthdays. My wife knows what to say when they question her about what she got for Christmas. lol

On electronics I usually wait until the new models are about to come out. Everyone is trying to unload last year's models and styles. I'll look after Superbowl as I am in the market for a big screen TV, but I may wait a little longer into February or March for the sellout of last year's inventory.

Thumbs down

Hmmmm, I'm wondering about the inventory angle, as this recent set-back in the economy occured just when those inventory orders needed fulfillment. I don't think there will be much in the warehouses this winter. Usually stock is accepted now and is paid for in 90 days. Credit is very tight among businesses.

Personally I haven't read much on inventory purchases, and the major chains need the question asked during this Qtr's conf. calls upcoming.

Default true NB

and there is no credit anywhere on the earth at the moment it seems . The WSJ had an article on where they are going to need a 10% increase from last year just to match last years sales cause of higheer utilities , freight , and interest . Last year was the worst season in years and i truly think this year will be even worse !!!!!! There is no hot toys or must haves and the same in the electronics arena so it is going to look bleak . Plus the fact most consumers are maxxed out on their CC's !!!!
