Default Best Ontario casino's?

Hello all.

I'm looking for a description of the games for casinos in Ontario. I will provide for Fallsview Casino and Casino Niagara.

Neither of these offer outstanding games, 8D DAS S17 no surrender with about 70% pen give or take 5%.

Casino niagara only has one shoe game on the floor, and the rest are CSM. During the day, table min is usually $15, then goes to $25 in the evening.
The back room is $50min, 6D with same rules as 8D, adding no mid-shoe entry to this game

Fallsview casino has about 7-8 games on the floor that don't use CSM. All 8D games, same rules as above. Only about 2 of these tables are usually $15 min during the day, (and usually stay that way in the evening), the rest are $25 min, and there is one table at $50 min.

The back room is $100 min, 6D, no mid-shoe entry, same rules as above

Anyways,
Please post information about any casino's you are familiar with in Ontario,
Are there any with 6D games on the floor?

8deck, DOA, DAS, S17 75% pen on the floor. 6 deck with same rules and $100 minimum NMSE in the VIP. Half hand shuffled half ASM on the floor. Hand shuffled in the VIP. You might find a $5 table in the morning on a weekday but your best bet counting is to backcount $25 tables. Ive seen a few 6 deck games at the OLG casinos, but they are always $25min, $100 max and few/no comps. Best game in the broader area is Senecca Casino in Niagara Falls NY due to faster dealers, slightly better pen, and higher table max.

Default Caesars Windsor

Caesars Windsor: You can usually find empty $10 tables on weekday mornings until about 11am. If you are lucky, you might even find a $5 early on a Tuesday or Wednesday morning. After that, they tend to go to $15 and $25 and stay there for the rest of the night. The $15 tables get crowded after 5pm. Avoid nights with big concerts.

On the regular gaming floor they deal 8 decks, S17, DAS, split to 4 hands, double any number, dealer peeks, no surrender - typical Ontario rules (except the CNE). The only exception is the Winners Option tables, where they only let you split aces once.

Penetration varies by the dealer, usually 70-80%. There are no CSMs. All tables on the floor use ASMs. The VIP uses 6 decks, same rules, minimum seems to be $50 and $100, but I haven't been there in a while. They used to have great $25 tables in VIP but those left when Caesars took over.

By far, I prefer Caesars Windsor over any other casino in Ontario. The charity casinos don't let you bet more than $100 and have terrible comps (if any). Rama, Fallsview and Niagara are too crowded and have CSMs on some/most tables.

Suppose you had a 3.5hour drive to windsor, or a 2hour drive to rama, should the player choose rama?

If you're in Windsor you've got 3 casinos on the Detroit side. If you like to scout out a lot of tables then this might be worthwhile. If not I don't think the RSA rule is worth the trip, play with the shortest drive possible. Some bus tour companies offer $10 casino rides or even free.

All the Brantford games are 8 deck. Confirmed that today with a pit critter.

Went to Fallsview last Fri. night.

Ontario is ridiculous now. ALL CSM's except for one 8D $50-$1000 table.

Oh well, I just sat there backcounting and would throw a bet down near the end of the shoe if it was a good count. Always fun pissing off the ploppies with putting a bet out after not betting any part of a shoe previously.

And it was entertaining watch some guy blow through $10K in under 25mins.
