Default New Blackjack Sidebet??

I went into a casino last night and saw a "new" sidebet... one I had never seen before.... it was essentially lucky ladies but with an emphasis on kings... I can't quite remember, but i think they called it Royal Kings... and I think the payout chart was:

Any 20 - 4:1
2 Kings - 6:1
Suited 20 - 9:1
Matched Suited 20 - 20:1
2 King of Spades - 100:1
2 King of Spades & Dealer BJ - 1000:1

I am not sure if this information is accurate, it is off the top of my head... if someone has seen this bet before, please correct me.

Assuming a correct payout schedule (if mine is wrong, post the correct one), is it better than Lucky Ladies?

Sounds just like Lucky Ladies swinging from the other side of the plate. Perhaps developed for Barney(beans &) Frank.

i saw something like this somewhere in NV or CA before but cant remember the details about the game. I assumed they were just deciding to try the bet on another face card set but didnt think it changed much.

Here is the paytable:

- King of Spades pair + Dealer BJ = 1000:1
- King of Spades pair = 100:1
- Suited Kings Pair (not spades) = 30:1
- Suited Paired 20 (not kings) = 20:1
- Suited 20 = 9:1
- Pair of Kings = 6:1
- Any other 20 = 4:1

Discuss!

Yes it is better than the LL bet. Send the info to the Wizard of Odds and he will run the odds for you and post it on his blackjack side bets page.
