'YouTube' Biker Jailed

A British biker, Sandor Ferenci, has been thrown in jail for 12 weeks after British police were alerted to a YouTube video depicting him racing at up to speeds of 130mph, popping wheelies and performing various other motorcycle stunts on public roads in and around Oxford, England.

Judge Maher also banned the 28-year old from riding on public roads for two years and Ferenci was also ordered to take and complete an extended driving test before being allowed to regain his driving privilege.

Though it seems clear that Mr Ferenci can certainly handle his Yamaha R6 machine, he was obviously asking for some sort of trouble sooner, or later, be it with the law, or some a visit to the local Intensive Care Unit. Not only was this a stupid thing to do on a motorbike on public roads, but to then post it on the web is really beyond stupid. Apparently, when the police arrived at his home he voluntarily admitted to the YouTube video, before the police even knew about it's existence! According to the prosecution the police got the initial tip-off from a disgruntled motorist who had seen the stunts and taken down his number plate.
