Obama and Taxes
Obama voted in a non binding resolution in the Senate to raise taxes on those who make $43,000 and above.
Now the vote did not count
ok, then why did he vote for it and not against it.
The Democrats were testing the waters for the real thing if they get control of the Federal government.

He and McCain voted for Bailout - both sellout/traitors. What will the TWO TRILLION DOLLAR bailout do for your taxes?
Remember, McCain went to DC to help push the bailout through against the will of the people.
Do NOT vote for either of these bums. zg

From CNN.com
McCain is referring to a June 5, 2008, vote on a resolution (Senate Concurrent Resolution 70) meant to outline the Senate's budget priorities through 2013, but the measure had no practical effect. Obama and running mate Sen. Joe Biden voted "yes" on the resolution. McCain did not vote.
According to a CNN review of the resolution, it assumes that most of the 2001 and 2003 tax cuts pushed by President Bush will expire in that time. That's what McCain calls a tax increase. However, the Democrats offered their own cuts in the 48-page resolution, which called for several tax cuts and breaks, including rolling back the alternative-minimum tax and the so-called "marriage penalty."
According to an analysis by the independent Tax Policy Center, the tax plan Obama has proposed during the campaign would increase taxes in 2009 on the wealthiest 20 percent of households, while offering tax cuts for the other 80 percent.

Did Obama vote yes for a non binding resolution to raise taxes for those making 43 thousand or not? If he voted yes he has made his intentions clear!
Obama first it was 250,000?
then 200,000?
Meanwhile saying the top 5% would have their taxes raised? That group does include those making 150,000.
Biden said 150,000
With all he has planned for the budget I imagine the number will get lower and those under 100,000 or even 50g will see their taxes increase or he will bust the country economically

However, many intelligent people stated if not for the bailout a depression would have ensued.
I think the government officials helped cause the stock crash because of their big mouths.

It rolled back Bush's tax cuts in 2013, obviously a new plan was introduced. His current tax plan does not increase taxes on those making 43K. I'm not sure when he said top 5% would be raised or 150,000 but just looking at his current proposals it seems the line is still $250,000.

F**k their lies and ignorance and fear. Bailout made it worse while buying time and making other people money -
by perpetuating the PONZI that underlies the US and global economy - LET IT COLLAPSE! zg

My understanding
He stated the top 95% would pay more
He stated those making $225,000 or $250,000 would pay more
in reality
The top 5% include those making $150,000
If he voted in a non binding resolution to raise taxes on those all the way down to $43,000 then that potentially speaks so his intent. He has a short track record of voting to go on but he did vote for this! Again, if he does not want to raise taxes on those making $43,000 then why did he vote for it!
The money for universal health care for all is going to have to come from everyone! How can it be anything else!

Well I guess from "your understanding" compared to his actual tax policy there are differences. As compared to current tax rates, those making $250,000 or more would pay in taxes, NOT $150,000.
Also, as far as his vote 47/48 Democrats voted the same way. Obama was voting with his entire party, not a crazy tax hike on people making 43K. They introduced new legislation to reduce taxes on those people. It seems as though it was a multi-step process of adjusting the tax rates once Bush's tax cuts were to expire. McCain was the only Republican not to cast a vote.
