Will Obama Usher In the U.S.S.A.?
What will be the result of a Barach Obama Presidency? Will it usher in socialism, create a backlash that ultimately rejects socialism in all its forms, or portend some new form of government different from what our founding fathers originally conceived? Take the poll and register the thought that comes most closely to your forecast for the future of this country.

Your questions SKEWED the pending results
And, why the hell isn't this an open poll so we can see who voted how? zg

Your edits are cheerfully requested.
PS It's not open so that people will feel more free to answer honestly.
PSS- How can I edit the poll now that it has been submitted?

No one is asking Obama. I am asking what the probable outcome of an Obama Presidency might be in terms of principles that will guid a future America. If you have addtions, please let me know so I can include them in the poll if that can be done.

I agree--but that can be either due to rejection of his overly socialistic ideas, or due to his toning them down to blend comfortably with American capitalism. Either way, its my view that the future is inevitable.

I voted the same, Chef. I don't think this country would ever accept pure socialism but there is something to be said for some of its goals.

Out of curiosity what does the ideology Socialism mean to you? In your opinion, stemming from the beginning what is/are the primary fundamental(s) that Socialists share?
