I've heard this guy Anonymous on many occasions. Sometimes he has some pretty good things to say. This was not one of them. I think he should come out of hiding and stand up for what he believes. I guess rotten tomatoes and stones are not his thing.

All of these are subject to interpretation.

If he does move to reduce the military, he would not be inclined to reinstitute the draft. However, considering the state of the world, and the stupidity of reducing the military, I think he will bring back the draft. If he does reduce it, all the more reason, because he will be begging for more trouble in which the US military will be called into play.

He may push for reinterpretation of the 1st and 2nd, but that only amounts to destruction in the eyes of conservatives. I know all the arguments, and I agree with you, but the other side does not see it that way. History is written by the victors, so if he does succeed in such a venture, history will record it as an interpretation or amplification of the amendments in all likelihood--that is, unless conservatives come behind him and repeal all his changes and interpretations.

Forced? In the sense that we are forced to learn mathemantics? History? etc. Europeans learn many languages because of their close proximity to other countries. Because of our consistent, tacit government policies on immigration, we have a need for learning Spanish. Until the government takes a stand against illegal "over"-immigration, it is probably a good idea, because it recognizes a reality, regardless of whether it is one the American people want or don't want. If, as the government seems to be saying, we need the immigration of Spanish speaking people, they should at least have the courage to speed up the "legal" immigration of such people instead of fostering criminal immigration. (Is the desire for below minimum wage laborers the reason for this unlawful policy? Doesn't that amount to a form of slavery?) That is how bad our government has become on both sides of the aisle. Right now, I feel like I live in a strange country much of the time because I can't understand the language of the people around me. Also, I think the upper hand goes to the Spanish who immigrate and learn our language, because there are more of them than there are of Americans who voluntarily learn Spanish. Being bilingual is a handy tool to have when much of a business's customer base speaks another language. Until the government stops illegal immigration, makes English the official language of the country and supports that notion with English-only policies, requires all school age children to learn English, and stops pandering to Spanish votes, it makes sense to make Spanish a mandatory language. The real issue is illegal immigration, IMHO. Even then, if there is still a great influx of legal Spanish speaking people, Spanish may become a definite plus, if not, a practical need.

I don't know what he would put in a Second Bill of Rights. Sounds like campaign BS.
