Default GM stock downgraded to $0.01

by both Duetsche Bank and several other financial forecasters today by the end of the year . Today the stock is trading under $4.00 AT LOWS NOT SEEN SINCE 1946 . TALK ABOUT A BATH - WOW!!!!! Ford is not much better hovering around $2.00 a share . By the way you might want to skip shopping at circuit city as they filed bankruptcy today and will probably close in early January . A sign of inept management and the times as well .

Gee, I have never seen one person so happy for big buisnesses falling from grace. This has become a national problem because people like who watch too much TV and decided to take the Carton Fisks learn how to Flip homes and make money course have landed on their arses. They went to the table to buy a home they couldn't afford, had zero risk but the closing costs and now have zero to loose, zero to gain, zero to worry about but to make sure that the Shoe Box cover fits tight at night.

Do you live in a Shoe Box?

Filed for Bancruptcy in your past?

By your crummy attitude, you should go buy Gold and Silver Coins, stick it in a box, look at it every day, hold it to the sun to see it glitter, and at the end....

Realize you paid 50% too much because there is not enough coin blanks in the market to make the coins because speculators are buying ETF's who have to hord the metals in warehouses until they find something else to speculate on and dump the ETF who then have to dump the metals to cover the redemption and then you will be sitting with another zero item and can again be found with zero... does it remind you of the Hunt Brothers?

If you think the jobless rate is bad now, then let GM, Ford, or Chrysler go out of business then the jobless rate will instantly triple.

That must be your goal in life.

To have everyone sleeping in the shoebox next to yours. Have pleasant dreams our unhappy, opinionated, blackjack playing associate. May the BJ
G-ds bring you your most fulfilling desires..

Or maybe the retailing G-ds have raised you to the level of the lords in retailing my all mighty Master of the Retail World.

Default just posting reality buddy

and no I do not live in a shoe box unless you consider a 7,200 sq ft house a shoe box . If so this shoe box is all paid for . I have never even come close to filing a bankruptcy in any business I have ever owned . But thanks for the well wishes as well .I just state the facts and I assume your vast economic knowledge puts you in the let's bailout everybody camp . Fine I respect your opinion and I will not hurl derogatory comments to you as you did to me . I have way too much class for that! If this country has survived a depression in the late 20's and 30's I am sure we will do well again eventually!!! America is still the best country in the world and the ship will right itself sooner or later . No I do not own gold coins or silver except for maybe a a few thousand silver eagles I bought like 4 years ago at an average cost of $7.00 as i recall ! I am retired as I sold my business 3 years ago to a conglomerate in the food business . They bought the real estate , trucks, warehouses , accounts and everything which enabled me to retire very early . I do not watch much TV either as I have too many doctors appointments as well since I am fighting off cancer . Have a nice day and if you think the motor companies are a great buy ring up your broker - the stock last reached this low in 1946 in December { go check some charts} and load up on it .

Nope, not in bailout everyone camp. Assistance with payback, yes, give away and redistribution of wealth, ABSOLUTELY NOT.
Welcome to the Obamanation...

So we live in similar shoeboxes, although yours sounds 5 gallon size, while mine is Stetson.

My inlaws retired after 35 years working at GM so I take it a bit personally when they are bashed, don't take the wrong way.

I hope things become easier on you in the days to come.

BJC

Maybe your right... I bought Chrysler at 3 bucks in the 80's before the govt came in to help, made some pretty pennies on that one. Hmm GM at 3 bucks, sounds all too familiar.... First I have to get over the 20k hit I took from GM over 3 weeks ago.... $9.00 to 6.30 in a day and a half.... tooooooo volatile right now....

I'm pretty sick of your gloating myself. In the last three months I've had many friends and family members lose jobs thru absolutely no fault of theirs.
Coming on here and bragging about your million dollar syndicate wins at a time that so many of our fellow Americans are worrying about their homes and jobs is getting pretty old.. Perhaps you could tone it down a bit.

I never wish ill well on others, I come from the same camp as you. Speaking opinions is one thing, but wishing is something entirely different.

Wishing harm ... It will come back and bite you in the ass, bad idea.

My wife hates that part of me, even my worst enemy, I never wish bad upon. I don't want the consequences.

Thank you for the early warm wishes and a 1000 times back at you.

Thanks for the help guys bjcount and shadroch. I have been taking these people on by myself. Read some of my posts. There are just to much human misery that will happen if these companies fail. Being from the Detroit area I have many friends and family who are in the auto business. People just don't get it. Like I said before only in this country do you see people sitting around and hoping for other people to fail.
