What's going to be really interesting is if he tries to pressure Obama for a pardon. He has no other option- at this point he's going to prison. If he threatens to spill on Obama he might just pardon him on his first day in office. It will make him look bad, but whatever Blago has might make him look worse.
And what the hell is that the guy is wearing on his head? I guess that's awful nice of him, to get a wig in his wife's original color.

I met a guy in his thirties at a dinner party in Vegas about five years ago who said he was from Chicago. He said he had worked for the mob and that he had served time in the penitentiary for the mob. He didn't just say it, he bragged about it. He reminded me of Governor Blagojevich when I saw him on TV.
I hope for the sake of the country that Obama can put Chicago politics behind him as he enters into his new job. We need some relief from this constant barrage of corruption among our leaders. I am not a bit opposed to random selection out of a massive database of citizens for our next President--we have a better chance of getting someone who represents the values of America than from someone who has the wherewithal to run a conventional campaign.

Want A Good Laugh
Read the transcripts of the phone conversations the esteemed govenor was having regarding the seat. Also, read the press conference the FBI gave regarding the arrest.
Another reason not to have big government?
Oh, the governors wife had a real estate partner. The convicted felon Tony Rezko(?).
This story may go really far!
Toward the end of the Roman Empire Senate seats were sold and I think even the emperors throne.
